Exams and review sessions for Math 471 Spring 2026

• First Midterm:   Thursday, March 26,     During class period.
  • Review for first midterm: Tuesday, March 24 during class. (see zoom link).
  • Material for the first midterm: The material covered in homework assignments 1 to 5 on sections 3.1 to 3.6, 4.1, 5.1 to 5.4,6.1, 6.2, 7.1, 7.2, 7.4, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 9.1,9.2, 9.3.
• Second Midterm:   Thursday, April 23,     During class period.
  • Review for the second midterm: Tuesday, April 21, during the regular class.
  • Material for the second midterm: The material covered in homework assignments 5 to 10 on sections 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.5, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 11.1 to 11.6.
• Final Exam:   Tuesday, May 12, 1:00 to 3:00 pm in LGRT 204.
  • Review for the final: Was done during the last class.
  • Material for the final: The final is cumulative. At least 40% will be on the material not covered in the previos two midterms: Chapters 14 and 15 sections 14.1, 14.2, 14.3, 14.4, 15.1.

You may bring one 8.5" x 11" sheet of notes (both sides) to all exams.
